The Atomos Ninja V 5" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor is a 5" on-camera monitor/recorder that records and plays back DCI 4K, UHD 4K, and HD video from purpose-built mini-SSDs. It features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen with a brightness of 1000 cd/m², which makes it suitable for use in both exterior and interior conditions. The AtomHDR display technology allows you to accurately monitor your log gamma footage without having to view flat, washed-out looking images or use a LUT to compress the dynamic range and color space. The monitor supports popular log formats from Sony, Canon, Panasonic, ARRI, RED, and JVC cameras. The settings only affect viewing, with recorded video remaining unaltered.

Built to withstand the rigors of production, the Ninja V features an aluminum chassis and powers from a single L-series battery. Additional features include a variety of onscreen exposure analysis, framing, and focus assist tools, as well as anamorphic de-squeeze. A power supply and SSD Caddy are included with the unit.

Nexto DI NVS2825 Video Storage-Air provides a high-capacity portable solution for offloading, previewing and pre-editing on location. The NVS2825 features slots for available ExpressCard 34 media such as SXS Cards, and a PCMCIA slot that accommodates P2/P2E cards. Included adapters allow you to use available SD/SDHC/SDXC, and CF media. 

You can view clips on the unit, tag the clips as OK or NG, and add comments to clips within the unit. Then from the provided metadata the NVS2825 will generate an html index file that can be transferred to an external drive. Using the WiFi connection to your iOS device running the available app, you can also create a pre-edit of your footage, marking in/out points, which can later be utilized in a compatible NLE system to speed your edit.

Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Shuttle HD features a compact design that allows you to run your HDMI video in and out and connect to a computer or ATEM switch to control media playback using its large search dial and buttons. It also features a built-in teleprompter to utilize any text files, without requiring third-party software.

The Shuttle HD runs Blackmagic OS, supports ProRes and DNx file formats, and it is compatible with a wide range of editing software such as Premiere Pro, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve, and it can also be used to stream H.264 video to streaming services such as YouTube or Vimeo. It can be used to record video using its SD card slot or USB Type-C output to an optional drive, or you can connect to the Blackmagic MultiDock to record to multiple SSDs. The Ethernet port provides external control and file transfers over a network.

Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio 4K Pro is an updated 1 RU file-based deck that features the same functionality and control of professional tape decks in a digital design. This model updates the previous HyperDeck Studio models with several features including 12G-SDI support, two added SD card slots, USB Type-C recording output, timecode input and output, Ref input and output, a redesigned jog/shuttle wheel, 10G Ethernet, and a speaker on the front.

The Studio 4K Pro records video with 10-bit 4:2:2 color using either ProRes or DNxHD codecs, as well as the H.264 and H.265 compression formats. With two SSD slots and two SD card slots, you can record almost endlessly as one SSD becomes full, recording automatically continues on to the other, and the SD card slots are also hot-swappable. The Studio 4K Pro features one 12G-SDI input, two 12G-SDI outputs, a loop-through 12G-SDI output, a dedicated SDI monitor output, and there's also one HDMI input and one HDMI output that can all output up to DCI 4K. The 4K Pro can even play ProRes 4444 files in true UHD for fill and key outputs. The ports autodetect the signal and will adjust to the SD, HD, 6G-SDI, or 12G-SDI format input. The 3-pin XLR timecode input and output allow you to sync timecode with other devices, and it also allows you to daisy-chain with other devices to create a timecode sync chain.

The Studio 4K Pro is a 1 RU rack-mountable unit, with built-in rack mount ears. It features illuminated front panel button control and a heavy jog/shuttle wheel for analog scrubbing. RS-422 control is supported for external control using the Ref input and output ports. The USB Type-C port allows you to record to external disks, and you can also use it to plug into a computer to use as a source for a web stream. An integrated LCD on the front panel allows you to monitor the video and display timecode and transport information.
